Competitive Business Strategy Group Praised for ‘Revolution’ NTSAA Seminar Tour

PHILADELPHIA-- The Competitive Business Strategy Group (CBSG) recently presented “Managing Your Practice for the Revolution” to the Philadelphia and Pittsburgh Chapters of the National Tax Shelter Annuity Association (NTSAA), to regional and national administrative acclaim.

“Interesting… informative… captivating… motivating… were just some of the comments I heard from many members of our association,” said NTSAA’s Philadelphia Chapter President Myrna Moxham. “And these are people that have been in the business many years and have heard many speakers.”

“CBSG has the ability to identify the problems facing a business and develop a strategic plan to help it survive and grow,” she added.

Officers of the national association also voiced their advocacy of the company’s presentation. “CBSG was right on target,” said NTSAA National Vice President Randy Aranowitz. “They dealt directly with the issues and offered practical solutions.”

The seminars were geared to helping financial advisors and brokers deal with industry pressures that threaten their businesses. In an effort to rethink the fundamentals of their businesses and protect them, CBSG offered the group five steps to reach this goal:

Create a total service experience for clients- focus on proactive services clients want and need
Use client demographics- target specific constituencies Invest in technology- the internet is an ally, not a threat
Make service profitable- identify the most profitable clients and establish service levels commensurate with bottom line contribution
Listen, learn and act from clients- defections are not isolated incidents, retain clients by truly understanding their business and fixing problems as necessary

The National Tax Sheltered Annuity Association's regional goal is to "provide regular opportunities for networking, information exchange and education for 403(b) professionals in the Philadelphia area.”

The NTSAA is a nonprofit professional association that is involved in projects to improve the 403(b) business. The association holds six conferences a year, as well as publishes a bimonthly newsletter and annual directory. For more information, contact NTSAA on the Internet at www.ntsaa.org.
